Hi All,
Just a quick reassurance to those who have checked my site over the past few days and found it down. I've not eloped or killed it, I just didn't get the reminder to pay! I've now tallied the account and it should be coming back up within two days - and as soon as it's up, I should have the next chapter of In Death, Release ready for those (very few :: pout ::) who still want it :)

After half a decade this fantabulous story has finally been completed - it's one of my favourite stories of all time, written by one of the best Spuffy writers there ever was - Season Three, written during Season Three, with all the right spark and snark. Simply brilliant.

I am beyond distraught :( One of my favourite old reads has disappeared into thin air and I can't find it! Now, normally I wouldn't care too much - if I loved it enough, I would be happy to buy a new one - but here comes the clincher...
I can't remember the title!
I'm driving myself mad searching for the book online. I know the plot, I think I know the name of the main male character and his brother (for some random reason!) and so I'm hoping if I tell you guys, maybe, just maybe someone will have read it and might be able to help me out! I hope!
So here goes...
Okay:
First of all, the book is one of Mills And Boon's Romance section - it's an oldie, I think from the eighties. The version I had, had an orange cover (similar style to the one pictured here: http://i10.ebayimg.com/04/i/05/4f/8d/d3_1_b.JPG) and a woman and a man standing up in the forefront, with a sea side in the background.
I think the guy's name is Michealis (He's a wealthy greek tycoon - think from oil or shipping or something) and his brother is Petros (although, while he spent his education in England he went by the name Pete). The main female in the story is British, I think her name is something like Kate, but I honestly can't remember :(
The story is this:
The girl goes to Greece at the invitation of her university friend Pete (Petros) to spend some time on holiday. She accepts, because her new stepsister is moving in and she wants to help her feel like she has the upper hand on her as it's hard for her (the step sister) to be moving into a new home etc. (I think)
Anyway, when she gets to Greece she's met by Petros' brother, who says he will take her to Petros. But he doesn't, he takes her to his house on an island.
It is now that we find out Michealis thinks that she is there to break up his brother's arranged marriage. We later find out that he thinks this because his brother told him as much, but only because Petros wants very much to marry his betrothed, but worries that his family won't let him as her family has lost all their money.
Anyway, she tries to escape several times, but doesn't win. Obvious sexual tension between her and Michealis. He takes her to where his brother and the rest of their family are, but presents her as his girlfriend. This throws Petros, but he gets the real story out of the girl (Kate?) and gets her to agree to his bullshit story to help him make sure he can marry the other girl he wants.
There's lots of sexual tension between the main two, as Michealis thinks she wants his brother, but he wants her and it's all very hot and heated!
Anyway! Just when you think it's all lost hope, finally the secret comes out and her and Michealis seem ok. But, he makes her an offer that she thinks is to be his mistress. I think she then runs away, but he rushes after her. They eventually get together, get married and make with lots of smushy kisses as with all Mills and Boon stories!
So there you go - if you have a vague idea of what this story is called, who wrote it or anything(!) please let me know! If you know of someone else who might, please, please forward the information on to them!

I just thought I'd say hello, that I'm vaguely back and hoping to slowly start writing again. As some of you know, work and medical reasons have kept me away but as my holiday becons and my arms slowly get better I feel like I'm nearly at the top of the hill :)

Finally a little update for the new year. It's actually a companion piece to the Building Bridges/Burning Bridges fiction set (which I know isn't finished, but you grab your inspiration where you can :P) Anyway - set 5 years in the future, a fluffy little ficlet called Juliet.
I've also tidied up the "Published" page...may be adding to that.

Lost In Time by SpikesKat
A great read, that I'd sadly put off having a go at as I thought it was another fiction I'd started and had not been a huge fan of the beginning. But after seeing it recommended by so many great authors and friends, I knew I had to give it another chance - was utterly delighted to discover that it wasn't the fiction I had thought it was and was in fact fabulous! Well worth the hours it took to read - looking forward to many more updates!

Just thought I'd leave a quick post to let people know I'm still alive!! I know it's been a really, *really* long time since I updated any of my WIPs, all I can say is that 'busy', turned into 'really busy' into 'life, what's that?' :S
Oh - but one thing I did manage to do was get my (sadly small) chapter posted in the BloodShedVerse Round Robin fiction End Of The Bloody Line
I wrote chapter ten, which you can find over at the BSV along with the rest of the fiction or below! I hope to be getting something written sometime soon for, well, any of my current WIPs, it's just all time-dependent...something which I sadly don't seem to have a huge deal of these days :(
But that being said it's the only thing I've written in three months, and it hasn't been beta'd, but I hope you likes anyhow!!
